Nature Studies

We generally do the bulk of our nature studies on Friday when Hubs is home.  Its really nice when we have a Nature Club event on a Friday as well.  It makes for a lot more interaction with friends and learning is further enhanced.  This past Friday was one of those Nature Club Fridays.

We went to Clark's Creek in Puyallup to look for early blooming plants.  We are blessed to have some very adept moms a (and dads) in our Nature Club.

Here are a few pictures from our last Nature Adventure!

  1. That looks like a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to beginning nature studies with my little boy this spring. We did a little bit last year at his level and he loved it. I know he'll enjoy it even more this year. Thanks for the lovely post!

    1. Thank you for visiting.

We began nature studies at about 4. Our journals have been hit or miss and still can be at 5 1/2, but Bear is starting to understand more about the concept. It has been worth it. Good luck! I want to encourage you as you go forward.
